Wen i started photography, some 1nd half yrs ago, i preferred coloured shots. Then came a phase when i took mostly black nd white pics. And since a few weeks i've kind of taken to mixed shots. like the ones posted above. They have the charm nd class of black nd white nd the life of coloured shots. Shades of gray nd vibrancy of the rest of the colour wheel. Just like life. and i think they look gud this way more than their original state. The same can be said about life - the black nd white part of it only enhances the blissful coloured part :)

The prettiest flowers I have seen in a long time Gayu....they say 1 should take time out to stop & smell the roses....well in Mumbai there arent much flowers around...so I guess your blog will have to do :P
